A large blister suddenly appeared on the left side of the knee.

The sudden appearance of large blisters on the left side of the leg and knee may be caused by local friction, fungal infection, bacterial infection and viral infection. Local skin examination should be performed in hospital. If fungal infection is diagnosed, antifungal ointment should be applied externally as prescribed. Antibiotics should be taken as prescribed when blisters rupture.
