Rabies is caused by rabies virus infection. After infection, it is divided into incubation period, prodromal period, acute nervous period and paralysis period. Before incubation, there is no discomfort. During prodromal period, symptoms such as general discomfort, fatigue and headache will appear. During acute nervous period, symptoms such as hyperfunction, disorientation and neck rigidity will appear. During paralysis period, eye movement disorder, masticatory muscle involvement and facial lack of expression will appear.
