The risk degree of hypertension can be divided into four levels, namely low risk group, moderate risk group, high risk group and extremely high risk group. The low-risk group is generally younger than 55 years old and is grade 1 hypertension. The intermediate-risk group is between grade 1 and grade 2 hypertension with one or two risk factors. The high-risk group is grade 3 hypertension without risk factors. If it is grade 1-2 hypertension, it may be accompanied by more than three risk factors. The last high-risk group is grade 3 hypertension with more than one risk factor or target organ damage.
