Does ectopic pregnancy have to be operated on?

Ectopic pregnancy does not require surgery. Conservative treatment may be considered if the mass is within 3 cm, the hCG level is below 2000, there is no or only a small amount of fluid in the pelvis, and no rupture has occurred.
