Does the herpes of hand, foot and mouth disease itch?

Hand-foot-mouth disease is an infectious disease caused by enterovirus infection. The main manifestation of children is the appearance of papular spots on the oral mucosa and the skin of the whole body, which later turn into herpes. The herpes usually has no itching. If there are no complications, the prognosis is good. Most children can recover within one week.
