Chromosome examination mainly checks the number, morphology, structure, etc. of chromosomes. Chromosome examination for pregnant women mainly checks whether the fetus has chromosomal abnormalities. Fetal trisomy 21 syndrome, trisomy 18 syndrome and other diseases are related to chromosomal abnormalities. If the chromosome examination results are abnormal, non-invasive DNA and amniotic fluid puncture examination can be further performed for further diagnosis.
