Paronychia is mainly caused by improper wearing of shoes and improper operation of nail clipping. Mild paronychia can be disinfected with iodophor and treated with Mupirocin ointment. Daily shoes should be worn loosely and breathable. For severe paronychia patients, incision and drainage can be performed.
