Why is frostbite so itchy?

Frostbite often occurs in winter because of localized skin inflammation caused by cold stimulation. The affected skin is inflamed and ulcerated, and there will be itching. This is because when the external temperature rises, the blood circulation of the frostbite site becomes better again, and the blood reflow stimulates the surrounding skin tissue to cause itching.
