How to treat nail sinusitis

Fingernail sinusitis is usually caused by Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes and Pseudomonas infection. Patients may develop symptoms such as swelling of the periungual tissue. Antibiotics and anti-fungal drugs are recommended as prescribed. Drainage secretions may also be treated.
