Hand herpes is mostly caused by fungal infection, excessive hand sweating, ringworm, improper diet and herpes virus infection. Local skin examination should be performed in hospital. If ringworm is diagnosed, oral antifungal drugs and topical antifungal ointment should be prescribed.
