Children hernia themselves will be fine

Hernia in children is caused by incomplete closure of the peritoneal sheath, insufficient toughness of the tissue around the umbilicus, and incomplete closure of the umbilicus ring. Most children heal spontaneously by age 2. If they do not heal after age 2, they need to be hospitalized for surgery.
