If the newborn breastfeeds, the stool will be golden yellow, occasionally green, and relatively thin, the number of stools a day for one to four times. For infants who eat more, there may be more than four stools. As the baby grows older, the number of stools will gradually decrease, in two to three months when one to two times a day.
