Diabetes screening during pregnancy

Pregnant women can go to the obstetrics department of the regular hospital for glucose screening test, oral 50g glucose, one hour later through venous blood glucose test, if the blood glucose value ≥ 7.8 mmol/L, indicating abnormal glucose screening; but further oral glucose tolerance test is required, if the blood glucose value exceeds 10.3 mmol/L one hour after meals, gestational diabetes can be diagnosed.
