Causes of hydrocephalus:

Hydrocephalus can be divided into communicating hydrocephalus and obstructive hydrocephalus. Communicating hydrocephalus may be caused by dysfunction of cerebrospinal fluid absorption, which may occur in intracranial infection, subarachnoid hemorrhage, etc. Secondly, it may also be caused by dysplasia of arachnoid granules, change or concentration of cerebrospinal fluid composition. Obstructive hydrocephalus may be caused by congenital malformation, inflammation or hemorrhage, and intracranial space-occupying lesions.
