Pituitary-Lark cyst is a benign cyst of the pituitary gland. If the cyst is small and has no symptoms, such as headache, or endocrine changes, it can be reviewed regularly. It is mainly a magnetic resonance examination. If Lark cyst is large enough to cause headache, or cause endocrine changes, it is mainly a manifestation of pituitary insufficiency. Surgery can be taken through the nose or craniotomy, depending on the direction of growth of Lark cyst. If it grows predominantly in the nasal direction, transnasal treatment may be appropriate. If it grows predominantly in the suprasellar region, craniotomy may be necessary. In general, the results are benign.
