How to treat epidemic meningitis

Epidemic meningitis is mainly treated according to the pathogen. When the patient shows epidemic meningitis caused by tuberculosis bacteria, regular, comprehensive, standardized drug treatment with isoniazid, rifampicin, ethambutol and other anti-tuberculosis drugs can be used to improve the patient's condition as soon as possible. When the patient shows epidemic meningitis caused by bacterial infection, antibiotics such as penicillin can be used. If the patient exhibits epidemic meningitis caused by mycoplasma or chlamydia infection, macrolide antibiotics such as erythromycin may be used to treat the disease.
