Treatment of viral encephalitis in children

Children with viral encephalitis should go to the pediatrics department of a public 3A hospital for treatment. Antiviral drugs should be used according to doctor's advice. Dexamethasone and other drugs can be used in the acute stage. If there is febrile convulsion, antipyretic and anticonvulsive drugs should be used under the guidance of doctors for symptomatic treatment.
