The choice of topical drugs depends on the patient's different rash types. For example, for patients with chronic eczema, we can apply glucocorticoid ointment or urea cream externally. For patients with acute eczema, Glucocorticoid ointment can also be used when there is no exudation. If local exudation occurs, then cold and wet compress with normal saline or boric acid solution can be used. For patients who do not respond well to topical medications, oral medications may also be added, mainly antihistamines.
