Chromosomal disease refers to a disease caused by chromosomal abnormalities. Cryptorchidism refers to a condition in which the testicles do not descend to the scrotum, but remain in the abdomen or ilium. The exact cause of its occurrence is unknown, but research has found that it may be related to abnormal function of the traction band between the testicles and scrotum, mechanical obstruction, abnormal spermatic vessels, abnormal testicular development, abnormal testicular structure, etc. At present, there is no clear genetic evidence showing that cryptorchidism is directly related to chromosomal diseases, so cryptorchidism is generally not considered to be a chromosomal disease.
