Where is the inner gate?

Neiguan point is located three inches above the wrist striation, between the long palmar tendon and the radial wrist flexor tendon, there are the median forearm, artery and vein, and there is the medial cutaneous nerve of the forearm. It is indicated for heartache, palpitation, chest distress, stomachache, vomiting, epilepsy, upper limb pain, hemiplegia, insomnia, dizziness and migraine. Direct acupuncture is 0.5-1 inch. Neiguan is a collateral point of the Heart Meridian of Hand-Jueyin, which connects the pericardium meridian and the Sanjiao meridian. It is also one of the intersection points of the eight meridians. It intersects with the eight extra meridians and connects the yin and wei meridians. Therefore, this point is a necessary point for stomach and chest diseases. Current research has confirmed that acupuncture at Neiguan has no obvious change in serum amylase of normal people, but after acupuncture at Gongsun point of foot, serum amylase of patients with acute pancreatitis can decrease rapidly.
