Guiding you to a healthier tomorrow.
A hard mass between the scrotum and anus may be related to perianal abscess, sebaceous cyst, fibroma, etc.
1. Perianal
abscess is an infectious disease, usually characterized by redness, pain, and fever around the anus. If the abscess is large or severe, a hard mass may form between the scrotum and anus.
2. Sebaceous cyst
Sebaceous cyst is a benign skin lesion, usually caused by the accumulation of sebaceous gland secretions due to blockage of the sebaceous duct. It usually forms a round or oval hard mass on the skin surface, which may appear between the scrotum and anus.
3. Fibroma
Fibroma is a benign tumor, usually due to abnormal proliferation of fibrous tissue. When it appears between the scrotum and anus, it forms a hard mass, generally not painful.
