Paralysis of spontaneous delivery due to disc herniation

If it is a full-term woman, the possibility of paralysis during natural labor is very low, and the incidence of paralysis due to spontaneous labor in patients with lumbar disc herniation is less than 1%. Paralysis is caused by stimulation of cauda equina nerve during natural labor, mostly transient paralysis, which can be recovered after relevant treatment.
