What's wrong with murky urine?

Dedicated to your well-being.
Urine turbidity may be caused by food factors, urinary tract infections, kidney diseases and other reasons.
1. Food factors
Some foods and beverages may cause urine turbidity. For example, when ingesting too much food containing calcium oxalate or calcium phosphate, these salts may form crystals in the urine, causing urine turbidity.
2. Urinary tract infections
are one of the common causes of urine turbidity. When bacteria invade the urethra and reproduce, mucus, urea and protein are released, making urine turbid.
3. Kidney diseases
Kidney is an important organ for filtering blood, eliminating waste and excess water. When the kidneys are damaged or diseased, their filtering function may be affected, resulting in abnormal protein, cells and other substances in urine, causing urine turbidity.
