Is endometriosis and adenomyosis a disease?

Endometriosis and adenomyosis are both endometrial abnormalities, but they fall into two different categories. adenomyosis focuses on the myometrium, whereas endometriosis focuses extensively. adenomyosis also has diffuse enlargement of the uterus, whereas endometriosis has a normal uterine size.
