How to treat mediastinal pneumothorax

Patients with mediastinal pneumothorax may develop symptoms such as severe chest pain, dyspnea, palpitations, rapid heart rate, high fever, chills, and tension pneumothorax. Clinically, antibiotics are the main anti-infective treatment. If the pneumothorax is serious, they should be admitted to hospital for closed drainage treatment or Surgical treatment.
