A few days after minimally invasive surgery for benign prostatic hyperplasia discharged

Building a healthier future together.
Generally, patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia are discharged within a few days after minimally invasive surgery. It is mainly judged according to factors such as personal constitution and postoperative recovery. If
benign prostatic hyperplasia is serious, minimally invasive surgery is recommended. Generally, patients with good personal constitution, spontaneous urination after surgery and normal urine flow can be discharged within about 5 days after surgery; however, patients with poor personal constitution, poor postoperative wound recovery and abnormal urination need to be discharged within about 7 days or even longer.
It is recommended that patients keep warm after surgery, properly limit fluid intake at night, and increase pelvic floor muscle strength related to urination by exercising pelvic floor muscles.
