Serpiginous rash is a skin disease caused by a parasite that infects the skin. The parasite is a migratory larva that hatches in the feces of cats and dogs and causes an inflammatory reaction after entering the skin. Therefore, this disease is also called transitional larval disease or larva migration. It usually shows an inflammatory erythema and pimples and blisters on the skin surface of the patient, usually accompanied by obvious itching symptoms. Two to three days after the disease occurs, the larvae begin to crawl forward and move in a straight line, or they may meander and form tortuous epidermal tunnels. once the disease develops, insecticidal treatment is generally required.
