Herpes zoster is an acute infectious skin disease caused by varicella zoster virus. The disease is caused by low body resistance, so exercise should be actively taken to restore physical fitness. Diet is not necessary if there is no allergic food. Chickenpox can occur at the first contact with the virus, and the virus can then lurk in the dorsal root ganglia of the spinal nerve. When the body's resistance is low, the virus can reactivate the infection, invading the skin and nerves, causing herpes zoster. Typical skin lesions are edematous red spots along the nerve distribution area, covered with clustered blisters, unilateral distribution, banded arrangement, and associated neuralgia.
