Stomach cancer symptoms

Healing with hope, guiding with care.
The stool symptoms of gastric cancer patients may include black stool, blood in the stool, etc. 1. Black stool This is usually caused by gastric cancer caused by stomach bleeding, blood digestion through the digestive tract, hemoglobin iron and sulfide in the intestinal tract combined to form ferrous sulfide, so that the stool appears black. This black stool is often more viscous and shiny, like tar. 2. Hematochezia When gastric cancer invades larger blood vessels or the tumor itself ruptures and bleeds severely, bright red bloody stools may appear. However, it should be noted that hematochezia is not necessarily caused by gastric cancer, but may also be caused by other intestinal diseases. It should be emphasized that gastric cancer cannot be diagnosed by stool symptoms alone, but also needs to be diagnosed in combination with other clinical manifestations, such as abdominal pain, emaciation, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, as well as by gastroscopy, pathological examination and other professional means. If abnormal stool is found, especially when accompanied by other stomach discomfort symptoms, timely medical treatment should be carried out for comprehensive examination and evaluation, so as to detect and treat the disease early. At the same time, for high-risk groups of gastric cancer, such as long-term history of stomach disease, family members of gastric cancer patients, poor eating habits, etc., more vigilance should be raised and relevant examinations should be carried out regularly.
