Patients should be isolated until all herpes become dry scab, usually need to be isolated for 10~14 days, complicated with viral pneumonia need to be isolated for 2 weeks. Chickenpox is caused by varicella zoster virus infection, caused by acute infectious disease. Patients are the only source of infection, the virus exists in the patient's upper respiratory tract and herpes fluid, 1~2 days before the onset of the rash until complete scab, are infectious. It is mainly transmitted through respiratory droplets, direct contact, and contact with contaminated appliances. The disease is highly infectious, and the population is generally susceptible to chickenpox. 90% of susceptible children come into contact with it, and children under 6 years of age are more frequent. When pregnant women suffer from chickenpox, the fetus can be infected, and long-lasting immunity can be obtained after the disease. Secondary infection is rare, but herpes zoster can occur later.
