Guiding you to a healthier path.
Black and yellow stools are considered to be caused by dietary factors, peptic ulcer, acute gastritis and other factors.
1. Dietary factors
If you eat too much food containing melanin or animal liver recently, the gastrointestinal tract is not completely digested and absorbed, there will be changes in the color of stools, which can be manifested as black and yellow stools.
2. Peptic ulcer
Helicobacter pylori infection or long-term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and other factors can cause peptic ulcer, which can cause bleeding in severe cases. After blood and stools are mixed, black and yellow stools may appear.
3. Acute gastritis
Acute gastritis is generally caused by stress, trauma, drugs and other factors. Inflammation may cause gastric bleeding after continuous stimulation. When the amount of bleeding is small, it will lead to black stools. Sometimes black and yellow stools will appear.
