Patients with gout will show obvious redness and pain, skin tightness and other symptoms at the joints, mainly involving toe joints, heels and knee joints. Hand pain is not a symptom of gout. If there are the above symptoms at finger joints, it is considered to be caused by gout. For specific diagnosis, please see Rheumatology Department for examination and judgment.
