Symptoms of E. coli infection

E. coli is a bacteria in our intestines. Under normal circumstances, E. coli does not cause human disease. It is a long-term resident bacteria in the intestines of humans and animals. However, under certain conditions, intestinal flora disorder, or infection in other places can cause E. coli infection, but generally it is an extraintestinal infection. E. coli infection can cause abdominal pain, diarrhea, fever, vomiting, and some bacterial food poisoning. In severe cases, it can cause electrolyte disorders and dehydration. Patients with electrolyte disorders and dehydration will show mental depression, thirst, and some even lethargy and coma. This is a very serious situation.
