Does stool occult blood negative need to do colonoscopy

Empowering lives through health.
Coloscopy refers to colonoscopy. If stool occult blood is negative, colonoscopy should be combined with the specific situation analysis, and cannot be generalized.
If stool occult blood is negative, it means no stool blood. If there is no other discomfort, and there is no family history of intestinal diseases in the family, colonoscopy may not be required. If stool occult blood is negative, but abdominal pain, diarrhea, abdominal distension and other discomfort symptoms, or there is a family history of intestinal diseases, such as intestinal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, etc., further colonoscopy is required. In addition, if other examination methods find intestinal abnormalities, such as CT, B-ultrasound and other imaging examinations, or tumor markers found in blood tests, enteroscopy is also required for further diagnosis.
