How long does it take to defecate after childbirth?

Your health, my unwavering commitment.
If the maternal body quality is good, the diet is light and easy to digest, and the gastrointestinal function is good, the normal defecation can be restored in 1-2 days. However, if the maternal body activity is small, the gastrointestinal motility is slowed down, and the fecal volume in the intestinal tract is small, coupled with insufficient muscle contraction strength, the defecation time may be delayed until the 4-5 th day after childbirth.
If the maternal body has constipation after childbirth, timely measures need to be taken, such as increasing dietary fiber intake, proper exercise, drinking more water, etc., to promote intestinal motility and relieve constipation symptoms. If constipation symptoms are serious, consult a doctor and treat them in time.
