What is pancreatic occupancy?

Guiding you to a healthier tomorrow.
Pancreatic space occupying lesions are found in the pancreas.
Pancreatic space occupying lesions refer to abnormal masses, tumors or other structural lesions in or around the pancreas. Clinically, common pancreatic space occupying lesions include pancreatic cysts, pancreatic inflammatory pseudotumors, pancreatic cancer, etc. Patients may experience abnormal secretion of digestive enzymes and insulin due to lesions affecting the pancreas, nausea, vomiting, abnormal blood sugar, indigestion, etc., and upper abdominal masses may also occur when the lesions are large. After imaging examination confirms that there is a space-occupying lesion, the patient needs further laboratory examination, pathological examination, etc. to determine the nature of the lesion and formulate a corresponding treatment plan.
