Gastric diverticulum should be examined

Gastric diverticulum patients need to do the examination including X-ray barium radiography, gastroscopy, pathology, etc.

1, X-ray barium

radiography is to swallow barium sulfate, the use of X-ray observation of stomach morphology. If suffering from gastric diverticulum, can find local pouch expansion or cystic protrusion, usually round or oval, smooth edges.

2, gastroscopy

gastroscopy can directly show the structure of the stomach wall, if the stomach wall has pouch protrusion, it means gastric diverticulum.

3, Pathological examination

of abnormal pouch protrusion for pathological examination, can determine whether true gastric diverticulum or pseudogastric diverticulum.
