What is the gallbladder triangle?

Healing hearts, healing lives.
The cystic triangle is usually a triangular position composed of the cystic duct, the common hepatic duct, and the visceral surface of the liver. The
cystic duct connects the gallbladder and the common bile duct, and is a part of the neck of the gallbladder. It has the function of draining gallbladder bile to the biliary tract and participating in digestive functions. The common hepatic duct joins the cystic duct in the cystic triangle to form the common bile duct, which leads to the duodenum. It is an important passage for bile flow. The visceral surface of the liver is the bottom of the cystic triangle, which has the function of secreting mucus, lubricating the gallbladder, and preventing adhesion of the gallbladder.
