What is the reason for the midnight flatulence?

Building bridges to better health.
Midnight flatulence is considered to be caused by physiological factors, functional dyspepsia, chronic gastritis, etc.
1. Physiological factors are
incorrect sleeping posture in the middle of the night, leading to mouth breathing and swallowing a large amount of air, which can cause flatulence.
2. Functional dyspepsia
High visceral sensitivity, eating too much gas-producing food at dinner, overeating, etc., can cause functional dyspepsia, leading to gastric and duodenal dysfunction, and then cause flatulence.
3. Chronic gastritis is
considered to be caused by Helicobacter pylori infection and long-term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The patient's gastric mucosa is damaged, and symptoms such as stomachache and flatulence may occur.
