The difference between anorectal endoscopy and enteroscopy

Dedicated to your well-being.
Anocolonoscopy and colonoscopy are different in examination site, examination time and discomfort symptoms.
1. The examination site
anocolonoscopy has a shorter body, which can only examine the anus and rectum. The colonoscopy has a longer body, which can see the whole large intestine, including rectum, colon and ileocecum.
2. The examination
time is relatively short, generally about 5-8 minutes, while colonoscopy takes a longer time, generally about 20-30 minutes.
3. Discomfort Symptoms
Anocolonoscopy is relatively easy, and discomfort symptoms are less during the examination. During colonoscopy, a tube with a camera needs to be inserted into the intestinal tract, and inflation is required during the examination, so slight pain and fullness may occur.
