Is appendicitis and appendicitis a disease?

Your health, my dedication.
Appendicitis and appendicitis are not the same medical disease. The
appendix is a part of the large intestine, located between the small intestine and colon. Appendicitis may be caused by infection, congestion or other causes. Common symptoms include pain in the right lower abdomen, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, etc. Appendicitis refers to inflammation of a tubular structure at the end of the appendix. It is usually caused by fecal stones or other foreign bodies inside the appendix. The typical symptoms of appendicitis are dull pain in the right lower abdomen, which gradually increases, often accompanied by fever.
If patients suspect appendicitis, they should go to the hospital in time for comprehensive evaluation of imaging and blood tests.
