Abdominal CT can check out gastroenteritis?

Restoring balance, one patient at a time.
Gastroenteritis generally refers to gastroenteritis. Abdominal CT can assist in detecting gastroenteritis, but it cannot be directly diagnosed.
Abdominal CT can observe whether there are morphological changes in the gastrointestinal tract, such as gastrointestinal wall thickening, expansion, etc., so it can assist in detecting gastroenteritis. However, the morphological changes may also be caused by other diseases, such as polyps, tumors, etc., so abdominal CT cannot directly diagnose gastroenteritis.
If there are gastrointestinal discomfort symptoms, such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, etc., it can be diagnosed by gastroscopy, enteroscopy, abdominal CT and other examinations.
