Symptoms and treatment of cough due to lung deficiency

Lung deficiency is generally divided into lung-yin deficiency and lung-qi deficiency. The two cough symptoms are different and the treatment methods are different.

1. Lung-yin deficiency

2. Lung-qi deficiency

may be caused by factors such as weak body and overwork. Due to lung qi deficiency, cough weakness and shortness of breath are often manifested. Patients can be treated with drugs that tonify lung-qi, such as Baoyuan Decoction, Huangqi Shengmai Decoction, Buzhong Yiqi Decoction, etc.
