Where is Gallbladder Point?

Gallbladder is located at the upper part of the outer leg, 1-2 inches below the depression in front of the fibula head.

Gallbladder belongs to traditional Chinese medicine acupoints, 1-2 inches below Yanglingquan, the gallbladder meridian. It has the effect of promoting gallbladder and dredging collaterals through tenderness. Clinically, it can be used to treat biliary diseases such as cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, biliary ascariasis, biliary colic, etc. It can also treat lumbago and leg paralysis, chest pain, chronic gastritis, mouth and eye deviation, etc.

If only cholecystitis is treated, only Gallbladder acupoints are needed. For cholelithiasis and biliary colic, Gallbladder acupoints, Neiting acupoints, Gongsun acupoints, Sanyinjiao acupoints, etc. need to be selected.
