The effect of moxibustion on the ear

There are many acupuncture points on the ear. Moxibustion of different acupuncture points has different effects and effects. The common acupuncture points include Ermen, Tinggong and Tinghui.

1. Ermen

belongs to the Sanjiao Meridian of Hand Shaoyang. It is located at the rear edge of mandibular condyle and in front of the notch on the tragus. There is a sunken area in the mouth. Moxibustion of this point has the effect of opening ears and discharging heat and activating activities. It can treat tinnitus, deafness, jaw swelling and tooth pain.

2. Tinggong

belongs to the Small Intestine Meridian of Hand Taiyang. It is located in the middle of tragus and the depression of mandibular condyle. Moxibustion of this point can play the role of opening ears and treating ear diseases and tooth pain.

Tinghui belongs to the gallbladder meridian of foot Shaoyang. It is located at the rear edge of mandibular condyle and in front of the notch between tragus. Moxibustion at this point has the effect of clearing cold and lowering turbidity. It has a certain therapeutic effect on tinnitus, deafness, mouth and eye deviation and tooth pain.
