Yang deficiency and yin deficiency can be distinguished by clinical symptoms, physical signs and pulse conditions.
1. Clinical symptoms of yang deficiency
are cold intolerance, pale complexion, listlessness, preference for warm food and environment, etc. Yin deficiency is manifested by fever in hands and feet, flushing cheeks, hot flashes and night sweats, dry mouth and throat, soreness and pain in waist and knees, short yellow urine, etc.
2. Physical signs of yang deficiency
