The liver and gallbladder damp-heat is considered to be caused by improper diet, exogenous damp-heat, weakness of the spleen and stomach.
1. Irregular
diet, excessive hunger or habit of eating spicy food may damage the function of the spleen and stomach, resulting in imbalance of the functions of the spleen and stomach in the transportation of grain essence, resulting in endogenous damp-heat, blocking the liver and gallbladder, and eventually causing damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder.
2. Exogenous damp-heat such
as living in humid places for a long time or being invaded by cold and dampness may cause damp-heat in the body, forming damp-heat in the body, and finally inducing damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder.
3. The spleen and stomach
are weak due to poor function, and the ability to transport food and water will also be affected. For a long time, it may cause body fluid to become damp and turbid, and when it affects the liver and gallbladder, it will induce damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder.
