Viral cold and wind-heat cold are different in etiology, clinical manifestations and treatment principles.
1. Different causes of
viral cold are mainly caused by rhinovirus, adenovirus, influenza virus, coxsackie virus and other viral infections. Wind-heat cold is caused by exogenous pathogens and qi weakness.
2. Different clinical manifestations of
viral cold are nasal obstruction, runny nose, sore throat and other symptoms, and the general performance is not obvious. Wind-heat cold will be manifested as severe fever, slight wind, headache, sweating, etc.
3. Treatment principles are different.
