change of SUV values during clinical application can reflect the response of tumors to treatment. If the treatment is effective, the SUV values may decrease. Although

the direct application value of SUV values in inflammation treatment is limited, it can be used as an indirect indicator to monitor the inflammatory response and treatment effect. In the course of anti-inflammatory treatment, if the SUV values gradually decrease and tend to the normal range, it indicates that inflammation is controlled and gradually subsided; on the contrary, if the SUV values continue to increase or remain unchanged, it may indicate that inflammation is not effectively controlled or there are other complications.
