Open angle
glaucoma is a type of glaucoma in which the angle of the anterior chamber remains open when the intraocular pressure increases. This type of glaucoma is hidden, progresses slowly, and is very difficult to detect, so there are no symptoms in the early stage. When the disease develops to a certain extent, mild eye swelling, visual fatigue and headache may occur, vision is generally not affected, and vision is gradually reduced.
Angle-closure glaucoma is a common type of glaucoma, which is caused by the closure of the anterior chamber angle and the obstruction of aqueous humor in the eye. This type of glaucoma has two primary and secondary types. Primary angle-closure glaucoma refers to the absence of other eye diseases, due to the patient's pupil block, or the patient's iris root hypertrophy and advancement, resulting in the closure of the anterior chamber angle, difficulty in outflow of aqueous humor, and elevated intraocular pressure.
